OPERATION AREA

Gateway Foundation is a non-governmental organization registered in Kenya under registration No: 48864 in October 2016. We have our offices in Nairobi and in Dadaab, Kenya.

Services

Humanity First!

Given the tangible contributions that Gateway Foundation made to the communities we worked with since inception, we plan to continue services to the communities particularly targets the most vulnerable members of the society, notably women and children. The main programme intervention areas include Health, Livelihoods, Education, Wash, Skills development, human right issues with a focus on protection, Emergency interventions, Youth and sports, peace and conflict resolutions, HIV/AIDS and Gender (Women and youth empowerment, through civic education, skills development and income generating activities (IGA).

WASH and Other Programs

Our NGO focuses on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives, alongside various other impactful programs.

Youth and Gender Empowerment

We specialize in fostering resilience through youth and gender empowerment initiatives, empowering individuals to overcome challenges and contribute to the creation of inclusive and thriving societies.

We advocate for the rights of orphans and underprivileged girls.

OUR OBJECTIVES

WE STRIVE TO OFFER HUMANITARIAN AID TO THOSE MOST IN NEED

Gateway Aid is dedicated to fostering peaceful coexistence among communities through sports and cultural activities, while raising awareness on issues like substance abuse and violence. Our other objectives include enhancing education access, promoting sustainable resource management, advocating for good governance and gender equity, supporting educational centers, collaborating with the government for community empowerment, and organizing events and research on community welfare. Additionally, we focus on community-based projects for vulnerable groups, building resilience against violence, and increasing access to healthcare facilities in both urban and rural areas of Kenya.
